Home-style cooking and plenty of it, is on the menu in the Fireside Room in this long established and historic log lodge restaurant. Guests travel far and wide to enjoy the restaurant’s signature dishes of biscuits & gravy, chicken pot pie and peach cobbler, just to name a few. The award winning Sunday Buffet is a tradition in this neck of the woods and families return year after year for the delicious home cooked spreads.
We celebrated with dinner for our anniversary at the White Pines Lodge—always a treat for the five years we’ve been going there. I had the pork tenderloin in raspberry sauce with their famous onion rings and wild rice. My husband had their delicious steak and bacon broccoli salad. Both entrees were delicious! For dessert we had caramel apple walnut pie—of course with ice cream and warm! Just delectable! Service is always friendly but a little hectic during busy times and the winter hours are shorter. And they have some yummy holiday cocktails too! Lovely decorations surround you and there’s a fireplace!

We love to stop for White Pines Inn Sunday Breakfast Buffet when we’re camping in the State Park. Lots of choices and food is always good. Service is fantastic. Be sure to hit the gift shop on your way out. Great place to visit in the autumn.
